Spring fever and festivals

hi everyone, greetings,



just back from seattle to find the weather in boston

much improved since i left=2E  so i'm out working on my

tan=2E  of course i cant read my computer screen at all,

so if this is gibberish=2E=2E=2Elet's just hope there's no

accidental endorsements of john mc cain=2E=2E=2E   so, me

i'm planning to have a very productive next few months

(which may require me getting up from this lawn chair,

grrr)=2E  i have begun recording my second studio album

for which richard shindell is currently producing the

track "long way"=2E  very excited about having his ears

on this project=2E  around june, i will be releasing a

live album which will feature many of the new songs

coming forth, as well as some covers by leonard cohen,

queen, the band=2E etc=2E   meanwhile, next month, i have

a compilation coming out that features the best of

"boys, flowers, miles" and "little peppermints"

combined - plus 2 new/old songs=2E  it is called

"snapshots" and will replace those first two releases=2E

the actual studio record should be coming out late

fall unless the democrats fail to win this election,

in which case i might move to nepal to herd sheep (and

hillary should too if she ends up ruining everything)=2E





leaving the lawn chair now to play more shows for you=2E

Life=2E Support=2E Music=2E redefines the "family film=2E"



In August 2004, Jason Crigler, one of New York City's most sought-after guitarists, suffered a brain hemorrhage during a concert in Manhattan=2E That night at the hospital, the doctors told Jason's family—if he makes it through the night, there won't be much left of him=2E Jason's wife, Monica, pregnant at the time, froze=2E "Everything completely stopped=2E I forgot all about the pregnancy=2E I think I left my body=2E I remember thinking, 'This cannot be true=2E I cannot go on without Jason=2E'"
