Hi friends,

How are you? I hope this finds you well. It’s been a busy fall, but GRATITUDE abounds. Getting to express stories and feelings for people through song is such a rich experience for me. Folks have been coming to shows again (thank you). After Covid, it took a while to rebuild the machinery and to inform people that singer-songwriters are very much back out on tour. It’s been a relief to find that live shows are once again tenable and thriving!

I got to attend three kick-ass concerts myself last week, Richard Shindell, Molly Venter and Dessa. People have things to say. News from the troubled corners of the world is overwhelming, but we have this space where our personal thoughts find public resonance, where art meets heart strings. I don’t know what this does for solving the problems of the world, but I know it does a lot for our sense of humanity and connection. It’s an honor to be active in this space.

I am also so excited about collaborating my brains out this year. Tonight I play with Catie Curtis, tomorrow bass player, Sarah Carlisle backs me. At the beginning of the month, I’ll be touring the Midwest with Joe Crookston as a duo (a show we’ve been crafting together for a while now). Booking a tour with Maia Sharp as we speak. I am having a new song produced by film composer Claes Nystrom, planning a collaborative video with Molly Venter, doing an EP of political songs with Kevin Salem. Some of this will end up on Spotify, some on Patreon, some on Youtube. My glass is overflowing, as is my inbox and my laundry basket, incidentally, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. Grateful.

Antje

Thank you for buying tickets to a show. This is where I’ll be:
