Sunday show, Dar video and a call for contacts...
Hi my lovely friends,
How is your summer going? Other than really fast! Time keeps rushing on, so I'll dive right into news from here:
I'm painfully excited about my next stop motion film release. It's for Dar Williams to her new track "Today and Every Day". The song is a really uplifting call to save the environment. Making this video was so fun (it features a claymation polar bear and a little Greta Thunberg sailing a paper mache globe). We are hoping to reach as many people as possible. If any of you are linked into environmental groups, please let me know!! We'd love to work together to make a splash. Video and song release is August 20th.
In more immediate news, I am playing a house show in Billerica, MA this Sunday (4pm). If you'd like to attend, please email Tim at tim@kivahouseconcerts.com for a spot! The show will be in the yard unless we get rained out. At that point we would move indoors and require masks and fully vaccinated status for safety.
Speaking of outdoor gigs, I'll be doing two brunch shows at the Burren in Somerville, MA on Aug 7th and 8th, backed by the amazing Sawyer lawson. Details at the right.
